Costanza Rovida
Costanza Rovida is a chemist and European Registered Toxicologist (ERT). As Scientific Officer at CAATevents, her work focuses on the regulatory acceptance and implementation of New Approach Methodologies (NAMs). She contributes to the VICT3R project, supporting regulatory acceptance of virtual control groups through engagement with international agencies. She is an accredited ECHA and EFSA stakeholder and a EUROTOX faculty member, and provides consultancy on chemical risk assessment and non-animal testing strategies.
Karolina Kopańska
holds a PhD in Biomedicine from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain. Postdoc at the Center for Alternatives to Animal Testing (CAAT) at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA. Specialised in computational toxicology, uncertainty assessment, and scientific decision-making. Actively working towards validation and regulatory acceptance of New Approach Methodologies and other alternatives to animal testing.
Participant in international collaborations introducing innovations in toxicology, including the projects eTRANSAFE, RISK HUNT3R, ONTOX, VICT3R, and the EPAA Designathon for Human Systemic Toxicity.
