Costanza Rovida
Member of the Centre for Alternatives to Animal Testing (CAAT), actively involved in the acceptance of non-animal methods for regulatory purposes. She is also a European Registered Toxicologist (ERT) and Project Manager at TEAM Mastery Srl (Italy), where she focuses on the toxicological evaluation of chemicals and risk assessment strategies.
In addition, she serves as the President of ecopa (the European Platform for Alternatives to Animal Tests) and is an accredited stakeholder for both the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) and the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).
Karolina Kopańska
holds a PhD in Biomedicine from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain. Postdoc at the Center for Alternatives to Animal Testing (CAAT) at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA. Specialised in computational toxicology, uncertainty assessment, and scientific decision-making. Actively working towards validation and regulatory acceptance of New Approach Methodologies and other alternatives to animal testing.
Participant in international collaborations introducing innovations in toxicology, including the projects eTRANSAFE, RISK HUNT3R, ONTOX, VICT3R, and the EPAA Designathon for Human Systemic Toxicity.
